If only,
I had wings
flying soaring
Brilliant plumage
in boundless blue
Riding the thermals
free from restraint,
all earthly cares
To circle snow capped peaks
Oceanus seething, rolling
foaming far beneath me
Gliding across tree tops
No cages with steel
binding unfurled wings
constricting a spirit
that should be free
If only
