Where waters swell and tumble down,
crashing against open beige;
heartache dressed in a shimmering gown.

A gentle laughter, the only sound.
For the setting sun, a cortege,

The dance of twilight- a solar crown,
seducing the horizon in solfege.
Heartache dressed in a shimmering gown.

Leaking WaterTaffy salt,let them drown,
these stolen dreams beneath the waves-
Where waters swell and tumble down.

Gasping currents- tides are the breakdown.
Rippled time across forever's page;
heartache dressed in a shimmering gown.

Ravishing the shore; a breeze wrapped around
this gulf collapse is all I crave.
