Secret Alliance


meeting, touching, desires raging, soft,
Caresses, hard truths, secret alliance in the dark,
Reveling, wishing, heart in heart,
Moonswept forest, maiden, creatures watching, angels,
Weeping, kisses rake the tender flesh,
Fireflies dancing, trees in slumber, hide us from the world,
Falling through time, falling out of myself,
Where my purple robe and your tattered gown lay together,
Tangled, as are we, bound to royalty, bound to servitude,
Bound to each other for all of time.
