That's what I get for
Trying to mend this fence.
Now, they're all pissed at me
For trying to be the one to make this
Wrong-doing a right.
They don't see that I'm
Just trying to avoid the inevitable.
I'm just trying to avoid being alone.
I tried to mend that fence

And now I don't know why I bothered.
You just don't see that you
Hurt me.
Now, I don't give a fuck what
You do, just leave me out of it.
How was I so gullible to call you friend
When the only thing you did was hurt me
In the end.
I'm so naive and would've never thought it
Come to this.
But, way back when, we were in the
Best world.
This is the real world where you have to adapt.
You haven't adapted and I have.
I've changed for the better,
You've stayed the same for the worse.
