your breath whispers "good morning"
across my cheek as you serve
coffee and toast in bed

kissing away the jam that smears my lips

the way you look so intently
into my eyes is a tender caress
I simply can't do without and

your touch makes me tremble

as we slip back between the sheets
to make love amidst the music
of our sighs

for me, Love is...

the simple things that express
this exquisite intimacy we share
each moment of every day
