fallen angel come to me
spread your wings and try to fly
i will be your guide in this world
a herald of its unending beauty
we will fly over blackened forests
see the wonder in its dark branches
the trees will soon topple over
feeding the next generation with their death
we will fly high with the birds
gliding gently on the wind
cooling ourselves in fluffy clouds
feel the freedom of the sky
let us swim in the wild oceans
where live the mightiest of creatures
it is so serene yet so unyielding
she will crush you as soon as calm you
lets fly again in the sky at night
dancing together amongst the stars
streaks of bright against the dark
feel the wind in your raven locks
this world has so much to offer
so many sights and even my heart
let us fly, and run swim and dance
you will realize, you havent fallen that far

Excellent imagery, and contains an element of hope for us all as well. Thanks for entering, and good luck in the contest.

Impressive. I love the first stanza. It's a very strong start and I love the last line of the piece, you also end it very well.
(I was about to pull you upon a spelling mistake but then I remembered that Americans spelt realize with a z not an s, so whoops. lol. -
