Ruby isn't the average kind of girl
She doesn't play the games
She makes them
She lives a life of mystery
Prefering to hide in the shadows
Where no one can find her without her willling it
Ruby loves to dance
But she can't find
The right partner
Because in her arms they
Would wither away, not sustaining life
From the breath she sucked out of them
Living on the edge constantly
She's never really stable
Only in dreams
No one understands
The little girl she trully is
They just see the twisted figure she doesn't know how to hide.
Author notes
Prompt: "Ruby"
I know this may seem a little twisted and not my usual write, but I wanted to try something different. The prompt/name inspired me to write about someone struggling in life, who wants to be seen as normal but doesn't know how so she just seems wicked to the world.

Thank You for Your Entry ~
I love the picture you added; very cool touch
I like the darkness and simplistic feel of this - the first stanza caught my attention and held it all the way through
Excellent write on Ruby
♥
Best of Luck
Stay safe
