of how close we used to be.

about how you lied to me.
You used to hold me,
and say that you loved me.
Now you avoid me,
and break my heart by ignoring me.
I remember all the laughs,
the smiles.
I remember all the tears,
the sorrow.
I was always there next to you,
for three years.
Now you say,
that I gave up on you.
You always said you'd die for me,
but now I see you'll never live for me.
You said all your blood and tears were for me,
but once again you just lied to me.
Every now and again,
you try to trick me.
You try to make me come back to you,
and I fell for it.
I just wanted to think you loved me,
that was all I wanted.
But now you broke me,
and now I can see.
We were never meant to be.
