Though we have no blood ties
Our hearts together are bound
Lost to everyone outside
Our words within our hearts are found
No one else will kill you over something big
Or cry harder over something sad
Or laugh longer at your goofyness
Or have the memories we had
We will make more, I know
Our hearts the way will show
So dry those tears, my friend
Take this road with me, without end
For even when death or Rapture sing
Within our hearts we will forever be
When one's soul takes her flight
The other's will watch through that night
For the day when they will reunite
In each other's arms be again
With God, the angels, & Jesus our Light,
I will forever & for always be with my best friend.

Yes, she is a big blessing in my life. No one could ever convince me it wasn't God that brought us together as we are. We didn't even like each other before we became best friends. Then, overnight - voila! - we're inseparable. Niaish, dear Sis, & I hope the same for you.

That is a really lovely write for your friend. Even more important though is the friendship that you have. Cherish it and it will last a lifetime. I have only seen my "best friend" twice in over 45 years but we still hang in there, that bond is still strong, time and distance mean nothing. I wish that for you and your friend. Sheila

My dear brother, you have hit the proverbial nail on the head. Our bond is strong...& we are very close, in our hearts if not in distance. She now lives 3 hours away from me - the closest we've ever lived since we parted physical ways. We are happiest when we can see each other, but we feel a shadow of that happiness when we talk on the phone or chat online or text each other.

God made us best friends one night & it stuck! Kinda like everything else He does... I have worried that our friendship will fizzle as suddenly as it began, especially over the trial of not seeing each other, but I always hope for it to never end.
