Cattitude

Missing image

Hunter stalks with sharpened instinct,

Pantherlike stance, his wild pretence,

This pampered and spoiled feline.

 

Graceful and proud, a smug feline,

By hearths curled sleeping instinct,

Bravest, toughest, tom cat's pretence.

 

One eye open, slumber pretence,

Hanker ways of feral feline,

Comfort of home suits his instinct.

 

Vladamir, dandy instinct leads to pretence of wild feline.

    How did your cat come to have a grand Russian name? Our heritage is Russian. An interesting use of repetition.

      Vlad is a grand young prince of a Tom cat. We have a few cats we have had to for one reason or another hand rear, so they are a tad spoiled and very special felines. Vlad is one of them. He got his name as I was reading a book at the time and the main hero was Vladamir.
