Quiet strength

I saw your face today
'Twas cradled in my palm
I spent too much time seeing
Wishing all thats been away
Dreaming for a moment
That we were mine again

But I left it on a shelf
I don't have time to remember
Nor to dry my eyes

I don't have time to remember
That we never said goodbye

Oh Wow, This is incredible. It made me instantly think of the one that I had to leave behind, that I was never able to properly say goodbye to. I see her face in pictures sometimes, its the only memory I still have of her.

Is it supposed to be "that we were mine again"? Instead of "When you were mine again?" Just wondering, But its beautiful and totally heartfelt. I could definitely remember her in those few moments, thank you.
