Driving in my car
getting off the exit
catching my breath
Dialing your number
my hand trembles
Hearing your voice for the first time
a sweet surprise
Turning on your road
pulling in
I watch your face as i get out
hearing your laugh
a old familiar spark
Watching you walk up the stairs
I giggle deep inside..
Making me nervous as you slowly get ready
Watching your expressions and wondering if you are feeling the same
Getting into my car
we slowly drive
weaving in and out of cars I let the music speak
Passing a school i laugh to myself
if only the person inside those walls
could see my undieing smile
Walking into the art museum
Trying to pay yet you deny it
Looking at the work
yet its only your face i can pay attention to
your walk the catches my eye
not the art, not the sound..
just you, just us..
Wanting to grab your hand wanting you to feel me..
we walk silently but awkward to my car
feeling the edge in your voice
we head to your school
Meeting your friend
I slowly calm down
hearing your teacher speak
my motivation sparks
starting school, I can do
why was i scared?
Leaving to eat
we stuff our faces
and talk about waitresses
Heading to brooke
Watching everyone drink
yet my eyes only find you
wondering if you feel the same i scoot closer
feeling your warmth
my heart starts to pick up pace
twirling your fingers on my leg fixing a string so you say
after awhile we head back to your place
Climbing into bed
My heart beating fast
My voice lost
finally you speak
the words i want to hear
wrapping your arms around
a kiss so divine
Watching your sleepy eyes close
everything disappears ..
I know its to soon
I wonder how i feel like this
How can someone touch my cold dead body
and wake up everything inside me
How can you touch
where someone else did
and spark alive everything they killed?
