Ally and Wes... beginnings....

i was gonna write a poem about that august day...
but then i realized i didnt know exactly what to say,
to paint the picture i remember, the feelings i felt,
from that first hug and the way it made me melt.

playing catch in the sand,
not touching the water, staying on land,
we sood on the shore, you held me tight
you wouldnt let me fall, you said it was alright.

sitting on that big log, you made me close my eyes,
said it was my first supprise,
when you asked me to make you the happiest man in the world,
and placed on my neck a pretty pink gem, my mind swirled.

with thoughts so sweet,
with you i felt so complete,
that day was perfect, but it was time to go,
so as not to let it end we went to a show.

the movie we watched as you held my hand,
made me feel safe, nothing that day really planned.
we drove home slowly that night,
the stars shining for us so bright.


to the sweet kisses that ended the day,
and the lies we told to get you to stay,
when we got caught kissing in the living room,
and how our love was like a flower in bloom.

they day was perfect, and i never wanted you to leave,
when you left i had to pinch myself to make me believe,
that i had found someone so perfect,
even when i didnt know what to expect.

its been 2 and a half years since that day,
and still in love we are, its not fading away,
people come and go,
but we still have room to grow,

you say we will be forever together,
when you speak my heart is light as a feather.
you say you wont leave me,
and baby when we are 80 you'll see...

i love you jsut as much, that will never change,
our love will never rearrange,
its you and me until the end,
together forever me and my best friend.
