Living Waters

Living Waters

O, Father, it's one of those nights
when sleep and wake constantly fight
and from this to that flits my mind.
I peer into Thine Wisdom mines
and find old earth made a new site.

Purged by flames, rivers and seas parched;
but, like heaven's rainbow once arched,
the new Holy City comes down,
now earth's forever jeweled crown,
where not again will armies march.

Living waters flow from Thine throne
and through the city it will roam,
then fill up each river and sea
no ships will sail, those saved by Thee
the life therein never to groan.

Ev'ry tree buds and flowers bloom;
the Tree of Life sits near Thine room,
and by its twelve fruit we are whole,
never to ail or suffer woe;
and the land we will love to groom.

There will be no sun and no night,
for Thou and Thy Son art the Light;
no Shrine, for Thou art the Temple,
to which we come, plain and simple,
to worship on Thy Sabbath rite.

O, Father, such beauty I find
when I review Thine Wisdom mines;
what peace and love man cannot make:
we, perfected, for Thy Son's sake.
Why sleep and miss this flawless wine?

      Oh, no, thank YOU, sweetie, for sharing the Word with me and for the encouragement. A tough task I was assigned, so there are times when encouragement is just what I need to keep putting God's Truth out there. I'm more accustomed to being called what Jesus was called and, as He said, they will also do to me what they did to Him. . . because they hate Him. Sad, so sad.
      Luv ya! SisBon

    Another gold in the making, and it is one of the messages God is sending to the world...I could feel it all in the air. Blessings.

      Thank you, Sis, for the encouraging words. I so look forward to the day we are escorted to the "safe haven of heaven," and the day we return and all is made new! What awesome days those will be; and, as you say, we can feel the first day in the air.
      Luv ya! SisBon

      I started to ask what you are doing up at this early hour; but, then I remembered you are on Florida time. So, it's about 7:48 there and I imagine you are getting hubby off to work and son off to school.

      Thank you, sweetheart, for the encouraging review! I pray you are doing well!

      Tons of love and more, MomB
