reflective water spills

slowly steping onto the rocks that held her, she realizes that
it is freeing
it is unbridaled
and it is one dear passion pursuing
light and the explosion of a wandering soul

as wind grips her neck and body with the tang of the cold
she inhales the moments of air and becomes one

and again one

without a partner, without the completeness,
a beautiful stutter of a perfect sticatto single and pointed

leaving the alter was as easy and sweet as lavender
as fluorescent as the city
and steady as herself her feet feel the rocks
as she now pursues the bleach of a perfect sun
