Vindictive I -strike-
with mercy I see none upon your face
as the crunching of each bone snapping
within my firm grasp eludes your oh so enthralling demeanor.
So smile as time erodes within my palms,
glistening off your lips
hanging on each last taste of this life.
-Insanity- you accuse,
as each bone breaking
ear splitting squeal
escapes your perfect crimson lips.
-Crazy-
does not begin to unravel
the deeply rooted hate I carry for you.
Oh my sweet deliciously dying you.
I feed from your cries
as your body begins to shrivel
into the nothing you are.
Rigor mortis takes you by the hand.
cutting,
engraving,
etching,
sculpting,
fashioning,
shaping,
slicing oh so deeply
into the mound of flesh that sits upon your taunting body.
Ill show you,
the caverns of this mind
that breathes to incinerate
your pounding heart.
Dare you say my name

I loved this poem for the fact that it explains to me why Love and Hate have such a thin line of difference.
"Each bone snapping//each bone breaking"; the similarity was a bit too close and yet too far for an attempt at poetic repetition...good write though.
Good luck in the contest. -
a very intense write, i especially love the last stanza.. nice job!
