January again

January rolled in
on a storm of resolutions,
but the nagging rain of thought
drowned many good intentions
leaving just the few
that were worth consideration.

Author notes

strangely enough this is not a rhyming poem.

The flow is smooth, the imagery is crisp, the thoughts are lucid, the metric beat of this deepens the impact, leaving me feel the chill of winter. A very beautiful poem. I love the confidince of this write, I almost detect a bit of consonation, this is truly charming to me. I hope you do well with this one.

I see nothing wrong with this write, just an overzealous critic.
