Thy Depths the Soul to Drown Within!

Missing image
The veins the earth thy rivers flow,
And seas so vast to meet therein,
The rains from clouds their sustenance,
To fall the earth its heart the sky,

The land be torn the rivers power,
To shape and form the earth thy kiss,
That all of men be born their place,
And molded thy divinity,

In search the river asks us sail,
The fear within, of all of us,
To conquest there upon thy name,
Yet flounder we the rocks below,

Thy spirit as the river flows,
And prayer its sail depends upon,
Life’s voyage true in currents power,
Thy depths, the soul to drown within.

Wonderful poem to match the prompt. The rivers are like the blood of the earth that innately follow its heart downward. Life true in currents power...as people we do follow the power of our own currents. Love the analogies within this poem.
