No matter how hard I try,
I can't bring myself to delete your pictures,
I can't bring myself to remove the poem you gave me,
I can't bring myself to stop talking to you.

No matter how hard I try,
I can't seem to get your voice out of my head,
I can't seem to get your face out of my dreams,
I can't seem to get the fact that I love you out of my heart.

The songs you sang to me play in my head,
along with your voice.
The words you've said to me I see before my eyes,
along with your wisdom.

I got my courage to talk to you.
I did what I needed.
You got the courage to do the same.
And I will hold that close to me.

But reality is I started over,
and you have tried to do the same.
We both know how the other feels,
and that is the closure I needed.

It is time to move on,
no matter how hard it is.
It is time to forget,
no matter how often we may think of each other.

It is time to give ourselves another chance,
no matter how much we may want to turn and run the other way.
It is time to stop asking ourselves questions,
no matter how much we want to know.

No matter the circumstances we both know the truth of the others affection,
and with that we can only move forward.
No matter what happens I will always love you,
but its time to let go and I will do this with or without you, I have to.
