There are cuts
On her face
Under each eye
There's a sharp gasp
She sighs
Holding back her emotions
Blood runs down her pale, pale face
The crimson is unreal
It brings out vivid blue eyes
Making her face a sight
Her heart races
She is so afraid
She's not sure if she wants to die
If she's ready to say her last goodbye
Her lover is sure
Her boyfriend for years
"I love you," he claims
"I just want to keep you near."
She takes a deep breath
And then nods her head
"This world will be better,
With the two of us dead"
They go to the edge
And peer at the river
As they stare
Their hands link them together
They climb on the guardrail
And prepare to jump
They look at each other
And see the tears of blood
Their hurt and pain
Was taken away
Black water rush up
And wind block all other noise
The water was concrete
Physical pain replaced emotional
One last time she bit back a scream
Her body was submerged
Her hair spread out in waves
Her lungs screamd for air
More than her heart for love each day
As light disappeared
All sound was abruptly blocked out
She'd never been more peaceful
Despite her painful tears of blood
She was filled with cold
As the water soaked her clothes
She accepted the little knowledge
That ice made up her bones
All the while
Her hands were clamped in his
He'd never let her go
Never as long as he lived
Her blood was slowing down
It couldn't flow to warm
"You're not ready to die"
The voice inside her warned
As she thought these dreaded words
She let out her last breath
And let the darkness in
To defy what the small voice said
A hand wrapped around her narrow waist
And pulled her to the shore
Not knowing that she was already dead
Or what he had in store
He threw her corpse onto the sand
And gasped at the wounds
Another came with the dead boy in hand
"The pain she'd inflicted on herself
Is nothing to what she'll feel soon."
A mouth came down onto her lips
And forced a breath to live
But the attempts were in vain
She was already long gone and dead
In Hell where the Devil rules
Where magma replaces mud
Fires destroy the lives never begun
As she cries her neverending tears of blood
On her face
Under each eye
There's a sharp gasp
She sighs
Holding back her emotions
Blood runs down her pale, pale face
The crimson is unreal
It brings out vivid blue eyes
Making her face a sight

Author notes
If you like a happy ending, you pro'lly don't like it. Hehe. This isn't based on real life or anything, I just had a very memorable dream one night and have been working on this for about a month, when normally I wouldn't have the patience. So if you don't like it, you know where you can shove it.
