Hunger, colored in sunken pits
of concave bellies, and poking bones;
Hunger, mirrored in mirthless stare
of vultures' preys, and wasted limbs.
Carnal waves of burning stomachs
with upturned eyes, and cracked lips.
Greedy fights over garbage cans
for obese vomit, and sandwich wraps.
Hunger, colored in unwept tears
from colorless slums of bitter lives.
Hunger - transferred from pleading eyes
to cannibal lust, for brother's blood...

excellent chronicle of the horror of starvation
and the leftovers we dispose of daily, carelessly, obese vomit, fast food dumpsters for the unfortunate stand everywhere, robbers of dignity and hope. great write~~Artis

Thank you for your warm comment and rating. Hunger is brutal, and can transform a human to a basic animal form living on the survival instinct. Thank you for the great prompt and contest.
