I sit silently on the pier by the bay
Watching them swimming around and around.
They beckon for me to join.
But I know I must resist.
I can't swim
At least not well.
Pain courses through me like a second blood
As I watch them in their underwater dance.
I oh so wish to join them
But I know I can't.
So I fight off the feelings
And hightail it back home.
But I know I'll be back there tommorow watching their underwater dance
