And I felt the scent of your sight
When our bodies were too shy to touch,
To feel.
Do you remember that silent night
When our lips were too tired to move
But they still drew a perfect, shy smile on our young faces.
With the window wide open,
and the rain settled in
We wanted the outside world to know that we were happy.
That we were free.
You wanted to scream,
I wanted to scream.
We wanted to be heard.
Sights,
Laughter,
Love.
Life is such an inspiration.
From our creator,
To the one who will put an end to it.
You are my creator.
My sight and my sound.
And that night was my inspiration.
Author notes
It's nothing personal, it's just something that came on my mind...something I wanted to share.

Loved It.
This poem overflows with deep passion and emotions of contentious love. Just the description alone in this piece, aside from the wonderful idea, won me over. I felt as if I was witnessing this blessed scene, as if you were talking to me. This is a wonderful write and I enjoyed reading this all three times. Best write by far that I have read today. Thanks for sharing!
Love,
Silvos.
