I think women have more power than men realize,
like baiting you with a sensual look, or conversation
then walking away as if you are yesterday’s news
and we men just tilt our heads like bewildered dogs,
then sniff the air as they strut away.
It is a game most of the time, perhaps to bolster
their self-esteem, or maybe they are sowing
little seeds of promise, with instinctual savvy.
Love, and most often, lust, can turn a wise man
into a fool, make a proper gentleman drool as
pheromones intoxicate libido, which in turn re-
directs vital blood flow, to the wrong head.
Carnal fantasies will forever engorge pulsing minds
and underwear, of most men, as long as they are
weak.
All I know is; Gloria’s Secret, is not so secret,
exotic, fleshly indulgence is only a click away
or on the newsstand and that sly bastard, Satan
is laughing his ass off.
