I gaze at the grey world around me
wondering if there is more;
I'm at a loss,
completely.
Life used to be like a rainbow,
many arrays of color
in an everlasting dance
and intertwining.
But as I grow and life gets complicated
I really wonder if there's any color
and not just the grey that I gaze upon
now.
Though I think I see things in the distance
I cannot be sure.
Is it just a play on my eyes,
like the colors I no longer see?
Who can really say I suppose.
Maybe I'll never
find the real answer and continue
to gaze on, still lost.

I love it
I really feel as though all the colour is fading from the world and some days I'm not quite sure if it will come back
Thank you for entering my contest and good luck

its good but it doesn't sound like a poem but i got the point there are other colors out there but alot of us cant see them all i see is black in my world
-
excellent~
Excellent sweetie
I think you have followed the prompt well
Some people look at life through rose colored glasses
Then there are those that see life in grey..........
I think of grey as dark and dreary....the unknown......
Best of luck in the contest....
Excellent imagery and flow.......
Hugs

Bravo
I feel this way, and I like anayzing and studying things and all creation, so the grey/color comparision is clever. Blessings.

thats make it the two of us now ,
so if u find out where the colours have gone leaving only the grey behind tell me .
beside that its a great piece of art .
good luck from ur biggest fan

The color is hidden from our eyes when our souls are not opened up ^.^
We cannot trully appreciate such beautiful things without appreciating it's Maker, God.
