It needs to be re-wired
too short, it won't connect
I can't get it in the hole
or keep the damn thing erect.
It slips out on me all the time
It's really quite a shame
The top is really floppy
I grow tired of this game.
It's reached the end
of it's useful life
I really want to stab it
with a sharp steak knife.
Too expensive to replace
right now I don't have the green
So I will just sit and stare at it
and try to keep it clean.
The last thing I want
is it covered in dust
cobwebs or dirt
or even rust.
Afraid to use it right now
for fear of being shocked
maybe I should just keep it
somewhere tightly locked.
I'm really going to miss it
if I can't get it to work
I use it for hours everyday
but now it's got this quirk.
I'll try to keep it working
at least until next week
when I can buy a new one
and replace this old antique.
So wish me the best of luck
that it won't surely kill me
and know that soon enough
it will be an old retiree.
