i drew a circle round myself
and never once step outside
i lived this way for many years
within my comfort zone
content to be the way i was
for i had stopped believing
i'd lost my faith and confidences
and didn't need the fairy tales
i kept a bay all the world
never letting it get closes
i stayed within my comfort zone
to protected myself
then one day something changed
i realized what i was doing
i step outside that circle then
and i've never gone back to it

In the tenth line, I think you meant "close" instead of "closes."
You told me about this circle, this comfort zone, but you did not show it to me. The write lacks imagery.
Also, in the last two stanzas, you really need to define what changed, what made you realize what you were doing? -
Perfect description of the prompt.
Nicely done
