My comfort zone, I need to hone
and find myself revamping.
Just know I'm better off alone
and much prefer the camping
to any zone of luxury.
The comfort of the wild
still calls to me; as you can see
I am a nature child.

Cute. Thanks for entering.

That comfort zone is a bit tiny.
Why you'd have to sleep standing next to me,
and don't take a pee
at 20 minus C,
unless you like to live
dangerously. -
I love nature too, but more like take me near the water, and sandy beaches. The pic gives way to an new meaning to a prayer closet, an outhouse could definately bring you comfort. LOL. Kidding aside, nice flow of words.

Well, I am not sure how comfortable an outhouse could be in the cold. Ea ch to thier own. lol. I never had to endure these simpler times. I can only relate through others. I did marry a farm girl, and i get the stories of no heat and chores. Was a much simpler time then, and this can be a comfort in itself.

Lovely and simple, finding pleasure in the simple beauty of nature.

This is a simple little poem that says a lot to me. Everyone has her comfort zone and you've brought yours out so well in this poem. Thanks for sharing the poem as well as that beautiful picture.

I agree with that. Sometimes for no reason at all i have to be by alone with my thoughts. Could have been , would have been, should have been. It don't happen very often any more, but in the past many times. Especialy after Nam.
I do love this poem..
