cold reminders

this year there won't be rose's
or exchange of lovers gifts

lets let this day go on by
pretend it don't existed

this year i want to just forget
after all its just another day

i want to hide within myself
and numb the pain away

this year there wont be tears of joy
only feelings of regret

my heart can only take so much
and its known hurt

lost to what this day once meant
i wont remember and cant forget

as i lay my faith beneath cold stone

etched within saint valentines day
