Treatise for a Conversation

Down in the mire of this stupid consensus,
bringing myself up again,
from the disinformed, malformed,
sheeps repeating the rhetoric of prevention.
I need harsh truth,
and deep cynicism.

The more advanced you get,
the smaller the baby steps,
diminishing returns and misunderstanding,
Evolve us all so strangely.

Tell it to me like I'm some brilliant kid,
kindergarden style,
flourishing all the adjectives and propositions,
so I get the connotations.

Don't fuck with me man,
I've had enough.
Don't bullshit me,
sell me for money or validation,
or I'll cut your throat like you're cattle.

It's not a wasted analogy.
I'll drop you like a forgotten toy.

The cats will urinate on your ashes.
Just tell it to me like it is.
I'll return the favour.
We can live in peace man.
It's so easy.

Otherwise, it's probably best if you don't even talk to me.

  • I love your cynicism. It's refreshing for those of us who think it but would never dare say it.
    "The more advanced you get,

    this was simply brilliant.

    you're crazy, i wouldn't change a thing.

Thanks. I love my cynicism too. Sometimes too much. I think I'd like to change the death threat line, but still express that desperation for truth...the cattle concept can stay...anyhow...thinking and writing. Thanks for the compliment and comment.

I'm putting forth the idea that we are all really desperate for it. It's no longer a luxury, but a necessity for survival. People are ugly and curse alot when their desperate, don't ya know.

(The narrarator is delusional.) But he's got something of value to say.
