Inspired Love Sonnet

Love is for You

 

My love, my light, you’re all I long for babe,

please don’t say maybe when I’m on my knees

I know this walk down Lover’s Lane won’t fade,

as I whisper in your ear darling please.

 

As I pour my feelings forth into you,

can you embrace the beauty I bestow

There’s nothing like the ocean baby blue,

walking beside the soul I long to know.

 

Slowly paused to kiss one another,

and how soft and smooth your lips felt

I long to be your forever lover,

when dreaming of you, my heart seems to melt.

 

I cherish how you warm me up inside,

Know sweet doll, true love will never subside

    Okay. I have yet to grasp how you write a sonnet. but whether or not i ever will this is a good/great example. guess i shoulda paid attention durins the overview of Shakespearian sonnets in my Eng IV class. but regardless, great write and great read. P.s- I hate these suggestions they give you for commenting....maybe cause i have A.D.D or i just dont give a flying poo.

    Beautifully Composed! The rhyme and flow in here are immaculate. I cannot pick favorites in this one as I usually try to do. For breaking this piece up would be a sin. Brava! Well written!
