Why is that a blind man can see?
Can see what is real in you and me,
But we can not see anything.
Especially in others,
The grief and pain.
Why is that a deaf man can hear?
Can hear the crashing of our sorrow and fear,
But we ourselves are deaf to this.
We keep pretending,
To have joy and bliss.
Why is it that a crippled man can walk?
Can walk and run and skip and hop.
But we can not, can't move at all.
We seem to think,
That we will fall.
Why is it that a mute man can scream?
Can scream and scream, and we hear not a thing.
Maybe it us who can not yell.
Can not get out,
Of this personal hell.
How is it that these four men,
Are less impaired more now than then.
It is no secret look deep within.
For the courage needed,
To see again.
And if you can see, than you can hear.
And talk and walk and have no fear.
Just remember this most simple thing.
Have no regrets, just live your life
And don't forget to always DREAM.
