On bended knee I come to thee,
a sinner and a saint
Begging forgiveness for my past,
I ask with no complaints
Reach to touch my very soul,
comfort me; with your light
Give me strength to greet the day,
gently sleeping through the night
Ease my wandering mind,
let me feel your guiding hand
Grant to me the knowledge you hold,
teach me to understand
Though my times seem troubled,
guide my heart to clearly see
By your side a place is set,
exclusively for me
I lay my trust in you my lord,
to wipe away my pain
And in your grace feel whole once more,
health I may regain
Wipe away these tears of fear,
show me a brighter day
Touch me with your mercy,
allowing me to stay
From this anguish and uncertainty,
I pray to be released
Bestow unto me all your love,
and grant me inner peace
