I have an old computer
Seems as old as me
Enlarged print I prefer
So I'm able to see
I magnify script X 1
Which makes it darker, too
Knowing this I have more fun
Here is what to do
Control + (plus) is what does it
Doubles the size of the text
Clear text for me is a hit
Now I'm not perplexed
Control - (minus) reduces size
I don't go that direction
But enlargement I do prize
Now this is perfection!

Author notes
This Control + (plus) Function enlarges WHAT IS ON YOUR OWN SCREEN. It holds through subsequent pages, but to enlarge what you ARE WRITING, you do that with the controls of the writing box you are working in.
Hope this helps someone with difficult vision who may not know this.

Thanks, Ellis. I need all the help I can get and in verse it will be easier to remember.

Outstanding
I've just tried this out and it works! A neat way of making the poetry here easier to read. I suffer from migraines so little tips like this are very useful. Thanks for posting.

This ia a very helpful post, Ellis
Especially for those with older computers. I have a fairly new one and can adjust the font with a little arrow on the corner of my browser but it progresses in larger increments so the option you've given (which still works on mine, too) is a somewhat better way to do it.
This is a cute poem, a lesson in verse
Very good

Thank you for sharing this!
I have been meaning to enlarge the text on our disability page to help make it easier to read for our members with visual difficulties. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be. Computer glare really bothers me after a while too.
I finally got glasses that help cut out the glare. Thank you for writing this Ellis. It reminded me to enlarge the print on our main page for the disability group. I don't have any control over the other print though.
