this reminds me of a place I was once long ago.. it wasn't a pleasant one at that.. this is a fantastic take on the prompt. it's a dark, deep & thought provoking poem for me. the imagery is vivid and outstanding.

Interesting write. You could be writing about a parent figure that disappeared when you were very young, or perhaps a sister?

No, this is acctualy myself. I was quite lost when I was a teenager and after a long year with fighting I am back on the right road again.
