A Death In The Family

Though loss is true cataclysm
in heart it makes deep incision
to end partial some division
as family gathers within grief

Oh the trivial things matter less
when confronted by pain of death
and more value is given breath
while we each ponder mysteries

Some show anger with Deity
though we know the order of things
and that life circles 'round in rings
despite what we would rather se
e
