I am Forever.

I am the feather floating
high upon a summer's breeze,
I am the ancient past behind
and the future Time foresees.

I dance upon the highest clouds
and never risk a fall,
I am the voice of every heart
that beats inside us all.

I am a love that never dies
and a devotion that never ends.
I am the last word of every story
and the first when it begins.

I am immortal in your spirit
where my memory will remain,
and every flake of snow that falls
will always bare my name.

    This was quite beautiful - there were some sections that I loved, and then one or two which Ithought could do with a little bit more work, however on the whole, this poem worked -

    Congrats ,on the trophy by the way.

    My favourite part had to be,

    "I am the ancient past behind
    and the future Time foresees."

    So wisely written - loved it!

    This too, is a well deserved gold. This is a true example of writing for a reason and your reward goes far beyond the gold trophy that you were given. To have someone in a state of grief identify with the beauty of your work is a wonderful thing. I am very proud of the loving hand you extended with this poem to people you will never meet. It shows a level of humanity in your soul that you don't truly share with very many.
