Death, Becoming?

Try to grasp the concept of meaning
Nobody wonders "What is being?"
A question rendered answerless
And asking's left my mind a mess

A gasp for breath in this fog of death
So unsure of how much is left
A numbing nightmare, striking fear
What becomes of what's held dear?

A war of science and of faith
Unsure if I have what it takes
Questioning may tear me asunder
But I just can't help but wonder

However, still some light remains
Partly obscurred in silver rains
All I know, they keep me sane
Despite the hope my thoughts have slain

Author notes

How I've been feeling alot lately. I think my friends are the only things that have kept me sane, very seriously.

Also, I'd like to be the crazy brother...muahahahahehehehohoho. O.o lol.

Crazy brother?! Well that sounds good lol. As for the poem, I thought it was really well written, as always. You did a great job with this. Thanks for entering and good luck.

    Take care
