Letters Spilled

Letters spilled across the floor
 Memories ripped from time

Sounds of childhood laughter
Echo softly through my mind

Letters still spell out her name
As she sat there on the floor

Long hours in the afternoon
Before she found the door

Yet now in that woman's eyes
I see the child smile through

Letters spilled across the floor
Reminders of time's from you

My favorite lines of this poem you've written so tenderly... A really beautiful poem, good Knight.
