The glistening moon rose in the skies
As all forest folk began to retreat
The trees started to come alive
as the rocks began to tremble beneath
The leaves began to shed themselves in fear
And so did those ever so gnarly bears
The moon regretting its rise developed fears
As it faced this dreaded night in shiny glares
Then came that much awaited yet dreaded howl
From the silver wolf that housed there
The wolf was awake ,the night still mellow
That gave the wolf all the time she could spare
As baby bunnies hid in their abodes
And frightened owls in the darkness
Those fearless dark widows
Hung onto frail branches in forest blackness
The silver wolf came out to see the fair
And smiled at how all feared her presence
then trotted back into her lair,
This night ,to her, seemed pleasant.
