Make me a bird, Lord, and fashion my wings
That they may fly to thee, that my mouth may sing
A fresh Hallelujah each morning I rise
And Lord, make my vision as keen as thine eyes
For glory surrounds me; all glory is thine.

Both a prayer
and a blessing. This is how we should start into our day. Blessings to you. Frans

So beautiful sentiments you have written..and so beautifully these have been flowed in a poetic muse..well thought piece you brought...

Love how 'Make me a bird' comes first. So first you think your going to get a bird (like the fine treasures on the sill). But then instead is a wish to strive to be as one.
It's beauty like this that inspires faith. -
Wonderful prayer!
