Procrastination in the Economy

Representatives only accomplish two things: using their gilded fists to shovel money between their throat and stomach, and constructing fragile bubbles meant to detonate.

Author notes

Platinum Stitches

This morning I watched Obama's speech on the economic crisis and this just came into my head. To be honest, I never really concerned myself with what was taking place in the economy until it hit home and I found out my parents had to file for bankruptcy, lost the house, and didn't have the financial funds to send me to college. I know writing on the economy wasn't one of the topics listed but I think it's one of the most crucial topics Americans need to focus on right now. And it's not just in America that the economy is taking such devastating blows, because of all the trade taking place between countries everybody is suffering. Politicians [that's right Republicans and Democrats you stupid fuckstards I'm talking to you] need to get their heads out of their asses, wipe the shit out of their eyes, and take some fucking responsibility. Of course everyone can sit around and blame each other [yeah Bush was a moron but remember Democrats were a majority of people in Congress approving all of his actions] or they can tighten their belts and make a change. I'm tired of watching people suffer and lose their jobs. Now not to sound all cheesy and optimistic, but it's a new year and we need to start out refresh and rebuild ourselves.

Sorry for the rant, it's just something I'm really avid about right now.

Representatives are nothing more than buffers. There is no truth to them, and the problem is that the entire congress is a buffer. They smooth things over with the public, saying relief is coming, 'it's just going to take a while'.
A lot of my friends were laid off, for a while, or still are, and it gets scary at times. They have young children and wives; it hurts to know that in giving GM the bailout, more people will be jobless. The unemployment rate will sky rocket worse than it already has. And it's a catch-22 between Republicans and Democrats; there is no middle ground, anywhere. I'm really sorry to hear about your situation.

We need more people with that opinion in office. People that can see how Americans live - I mean REAL down to earth Americans not the richest 3% who apply for welfare money for a little spending cash - and can do something about it.

And personally - fuck Obama. Change? Now? He just said what he needed to to get into office. Fuck im.

Poem, statement - this makes me smile

    Love
