Your diamond eyes are the crystals buried in the Earth,
Yet the cherished silver feather I held,
Into darkness melds, the signal of the end,
Sing to me into fabled sacrament,
The song relinquishing my lament.
Undying myth without prophesy or fulfilment,
Signing the river of my tears,
Fantastical beauty never seen in light,
Nor the swans that swim their years,
The crow that flies at night comes to haunt me.
My heart will be with you,
My love will be for you,
Neither here nor there will my memories be without you.
Sweet saviour of un-trying grace,
My mind was without doubt,
Yet the signs of confusion pointed away,
From the place I’d rather be,
Solve in me the riddle of my trinity mystery,
Of trial, love and ministry.
My heart will be with you,
My love will be for you,
Neither here nor there will my memories be without you.
Letters written in blood past time,
When trials spoke of death,
Unfairness and bewilderment became parasites of man,
Thievery, like the rusty chains of deceits dominion,
Those likenesses we had, the destiny of love,
Faded silver feather of the dove to drive a man to tears.
Sing to me like you did once before,
The Chord of Life,
Sing to me, like a knife through fog,
The Chord of Life.
Mans greatest fear of freewill,
Is one that cannot change,
Fear for me,
For I find myself lost in love,
Sing to me my maiden,
The Chord of Life.

Author notes
Self explanatory. I find that people hate the idea of freewill, freewill means that people can be rejected in love, or people can be abused, etc. etc. but they know that it didn't have to be that way. Freewill also means unfairness, which people use as an excuse for a whole host of reasons. Unfortunately, to be cliched, life isn't fair.
