The Real Meaning behind Obama's Dire Economic Warning

Hi, I'm Obama,
you remember me-
the media got me into office... well,
since I'm going to screw everything up,
I'm covering my bases right now
and issuing my    "dire warning"    that everything's going to be screwed up...

unless... (this just in from Party HQ):
the Government takes control of industry and manages everything!

We are the Liberal Gods descended upon Earth to save humanity from itself!

I mean, how can free enterprise be expected to run itself
without government meddling?

but...

like I said, we're most likely going to screw everything up...

Now the question is,
Do I have the interest of the free world in mind,
saving it from damage by a greedy, insidious few?
Is the world really that simple?

or...

is this just another reelection ploy,
so the media can get me reelected
no matter how bad I screw things up?

or...

am I really part of a hard-core, power-mad socialist/communist party
that wants to control everything itself, in perpetuation?
(as is their wont)

So, my fellow countrymen,
it doesn't matter that oil prices are one quarter of what they were a month ago,
I, in my socialist ways, am going to screw everything up regardless,
and this is my dire warning just so you know;

and pretend it wasn't me or my party's fault
so you're easier to brainwash by the media next election
and you'll vote us back into office for four more years!

Now, personally, I think Obama is an average, good guy, with a tiny bit of good intent over that of his party's obsession with power,

but as for his "fixing" things- there is a fine line between "fixing" things and screwing thing up, or "controlling" things just because you like to...

as far as anything being broken- we already have a justice system in place to challenge those who do harm to the free world (whether for profit or otherwise) and a lawmaking body to make zillions of silly, over-specific laws that never keep up with an ever-changing reality and its immoral people and crooks who take advantage of things (and who can blame them- it is the old "if I don't abuse it, someone else will" adage), people who do it because there are no repercussions from what is actually a defective justice system, and because politicians really don't "fix" things the way they can and should (for many problems are caused by a defective system)- they simply throw fist-fulls of money at a perceived problem, where the money ends up lost and misused...
humans are progressing, but it is painfully slow, and each step forward is often as a result of someone screwing things up... so maybe Obama is destined to be here to screw things up in order that man progresses one more step forward... (and think of all the progress mankind made under Bush!)
