he quiets my anger with kisses

when sandstorms cloud vision of honey roasted
rays and christened rainbows beneath the clouds,
he presses his lips against mine and any anger falls away.

i.
he is butterfly kisses encased within heartache,
butter melted between pepsi molecules form
his eyes, sunflowers stand up to reach out and
record each and every second.

ii.
coffee granules spill out from hurricanes and
handfuls of whirlwinds with too much dislike
behind the catch and throw motion--
encased until calm meets the ocean and the
clouds can rest once again.

iii.
glass hearts crystallised within diamond dreams,
nightmares have never been so far from my mind.

iv.
when a goldfish lends out it's memories for tea,
i sigh at his attempts to memorise worthless
memories;

'it never mattered anyway' i let the peace shatter.

v.
tighter than ever before, wrapped within tiles of
love and cuddling affection, he presses his lips against mine
and i melt, before him--

vi.
sometimes when i'm searching for the me i once was,
i hate the power he has over me, i'm intoxicated;

i fell into his eyes and i don't care for a way out.
