I saw him this morning, my anti-God mate,
Smiling and beaming and feeling so proud.
“Things are going well”, He said quite aloud,
Seemed in a hurry, for he mustn’t be late.
He had wars to run, and earthquakes that trembled,
with visions of famine and ruin for all.
He hummed and worked, for him this was a ball,
piling the troubles on humans assembled.
What God had gathered, He must put asunder,
then take a day off for a job well done.
Let God go to work and brighten the sun,
they’ll do it again soon, rapture and wonder.
Yes, I saw him this morning, though not misbehaving,
He was there in my mirror---watching me shaving.
Author notes
A philosophical tip of the hat to Eddy, for making us think a little. God+AntiGod+self= a "tri"ality perhaps? Ok, I'll go back to pulling my ear lobes now.

you made me think.. we all want what we want and do we want to let go of any thing ...to give up to make this world better for others? I don't know I am seeing so much in my self it scares me . Good write.

Masterful Write......
Honey you have embaced this contest topic with a indulged harmony of words. Amidst the echo calling back to you...from the mirror you saw the image of God....yourself after all man is made in his image....and who but the human is anti..with his power of choice. I feel you have captured this prompt . I consumed every wonderful word...an excellent written poem....

What a wonderful spiritual write
I think we all talk to the AntiGod in our own way. Hope it will bring us closer to our believes. I Find my self always talking but my Husband says he just thinks I am talking to my self because of my age Hehehe. Your Write has inspired me to keep talking in the mirror. Thank my friend for the inspiration Always your friend
