I am strong because I am weak
what hurts me makes me stronger
I learn from that weakness
and because I learn...I am strong.
I am beautiful because I know my flaws
and though there may be many
I know what they are and I accept them
and because of that...I am beautiful.
I am love because I am a fighter
I fight for what I believe in
and I give my love wholeheartedly
and though I've been hurt many times
I still fight
and because of that...I am love.
I am fearless because I have been afraid
I am afraid of getting hurt once again
but I cannot find the love I seek
unless I put myself out there
and because I do so....I am fearless.
I am wise because I have been foolish
I have made many mistakes in my life
and I am sure many more before my end
but I fall, scrape my knees, get right back up
and brush myself off
because I can learn from my foolishness...I am wise.
I can laugh because I have known sadness
if you can find the strength to laugh
after having been hurt or a loss
You can overcome anything
I have known great sadness in my time
and because of this...I can laugh.

wise
