If I were a bird. . .
Would it be possible?
To fly to Heaven
Where God resides.
I'd like to try
If only. . .l had wings
for
I'd like to see God's beauty
From a bird's eye view
High in the sky!
Wishes.
They make us wonder
They make us curious.
and
Sometimes they make us seek God.
but
To fly to heaven if it were possible
One must have a true heart.
Or they would never achieve this feat.
Want and Desire. . .
Are like Love and Lust.
To fly to God as a conquest
Would not get you in his realm.
where
If one even failed to reach his gates,
The excitement and beauty of flight
Would be rewarding of itself.
for
Without the love of God
In one's heart
They should never try such a feat
