Lead Me Home To You, Oh Lord

Lord, grant me the gift of patience in flight.

Help me soar gracefully above the clouds,

and into your waiting arms for all of eternity.

Give me the peace of mind that I need,

and show me the way back home.

Make me numb to the sins of the world.

Place your hand upon my heart and mind.

Ease away all of the tension and anxiety,

that continuously dwells within me.

Make me deaf to the insults and harsh words,

that surround me everyday and night.

Help me find serenity in my times of frustration.

Give me the strength and courage,

that I need to carry these heavy wings.

The same way you carried the cross for mankind.

Bless me and everyone that I love,

all the days of our lives.

Lead us all home to your heart forevermore.
