Entrapped

For three hundred years
Encased in porcelain
Entrapped by greed
The fool’s game
I tried to scream
Though I only annoyed
And the master
Of the master blood line
Buried me
Beneath this tree
To tarnish my gold rim design
To begin to crack
In my skin
Skin that is as hard as rock
But as delicate as my soul
I wait the days to come
On a moon lit night
The chosen girl will arrive
Drenched in innocence
Only to be betrayed
Like I once was
We will trade bodies
And she will wait
The days to pass
Till her chosen one arrives
At dusk
Under an old oak tree.
